LAHORE - The lawyers on Thursday held strike on fourth day of Daska incident and continued their protest, reminding the government to conclude the case within the given time.

The members of the Lahore Bar Association established a campus outside the bar premises beneath Metro bus line on Ferozepur Road. Their protest continued all the day.

Lawyers also appeared in the courts with black armbands. A number of lawyers also staged protest demonstration outside LHCBA at GPO Chowk.

They criticised the government for its failure in providing protection to the citizens.

"Blood of our colleagues will never go wasted and it will bring change in the country," the lawyers said while showing determination to bring change in the system.

They were holding placards and chanted slogans against the government and police. At LHCBA, a team of senior lawyers was constituted to pursue the Daska incident at courts.
