Karachi: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain, questioned why none of the 18, federal and provincial, intelligence agencies of Pakistan knew anything about Axact.

He said that anchor persons bash Axact day in and out, but never mention the fact that the mammoth Axact building right in the middle of the financial hub of the country, didn’t attract the attention of our intelligence agencies .

In a statement, MQM chief said that Axact has been allowing everyone to visit its building nowadays, but out intelligence agencies only got to know about it, once a story was published about the fraud in an American newspaper.

“How were they running such a successful business, despite the presence of 18 intelligence agencies for so many years?” he said. “Pakistan spends trillions of rupees every year on these agencies,” he added.

Altaf Hussain said that every Pakistani felt ashamed when some of the biggest names of our media industry, left their channels for double salaries at ‘Bol’.
