LAHORE - Comedian Muhammad Javed aka Javed Kodu who is in General Hospital following a brain haemorrhage received Rs50,000 from Lahore Arts Council yesterday.

LAC executive director Capt (r) Atta Muhammad Khan along with deputy directors Aftab Ahmad Ansari and Zulfiqar Ali Zulfi visited the stage artist. They inquired about his health and presented the cash to him.

LGH Medical Supernatant Capt (r) Dr Niaz Ahmed said Muhammad Javed’s was better and he was improving quickly.

Atta Muhammad Khan said Mr Javed was no doubt a great artist of Pakistan and considered as a legend in the world of artists. “As Muhammad Javed has put smile on people’s faces, we will make sure every arrangement to protect such a towering personality,” he added.
