Women’s T20 Asia Cup Tournament will be held in Malaysia from 1st to 11th of next month, under the aegis of Asian Cricket Council.
Also, a three-day training camp of Pakistan women’s cricket team started at the National Cricket Academy, Lahore on Friday.
The camp is in progress to prepare the team for the T-20 Asia Cup and Pakistan team captain Bismah Maroof said her players are fully prepared for the said event, hoping her team would try to reach the final.
She said though India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh are good contenders, our team is very well balanced and we can beat any team on the given day.
The Pakistan squad will leave for Malaysia tomorrow.
Pakistan will play its first match against Thailand on June 3, against Bangladesh on June 4, against Sri Lanka on June 6, against Malaysia on June 7 and against India on June 9.
Six teams including Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Thailand and host Malaysia will participate in the event.
Each team will play one match against each other team.
