LAHORE - Pakistan Railways (PR) Football Chief Organiser and Additional General Manager Traffic M Javaid Anwar Bobak announced a 22-smember PR football team after six-day trials held at the PR stadium. According to a press release on Thursday, 45 football players from Karachi, Quetta, Sukkur, Multan, Lahore, Workshops, Rawalpindi and Peshawar divisions participated in the trials for the formation of team for B Division Football Championship. Addressing the ceremony, Javiad stressed the players to work hard and give more time to their respective games. He said the Railways was a historic institution for games and its players and coaches had hoisted National Flag even on international sphere. Keeping in view the past of PR football team, he hoped the selected football players for B Division would get a deserving place in A Division by dint of their hard work and dedication. Ex-Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) secretary Hafiz Salman Butt and PR football team manager Sheikh M Anwar were also present there.–Staff Reporter
