LAHORE - Teachers can make country an Islamic and welfare state as envisaged by Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, The Nation Editor-in-Chief Dr Majid Nizami said.
The NPT chairman expressed these views while addressing the Ideological Training Workshop of Senior Subject Specialists belonging to different districts of Punjab at Aiwan-i-Karkunan Tehrik-i-Pakistan on Thursday. Nazaria Pakistan Trust and the Aiwan jointly organised the workshop.
Nizami said that teachers must inform the students about the purpose behind the creation of Pakistan so that they could further disseminate the ideology into the students.
“I believe the freedom is a great gift,” Nizami said, adding that we could get rid of the hard days if we find the patriotic rulers. The veteran journalist advised the teachers to inform the students about the Pakistan Movement history as well.
Talking about first atomic power of the world, Nizami said Dr Qadeer Khan along with his other colleagues did the impossible.
The NPT Secretary Shahid Rasheed told the teachers that the Trust activities were multidimensional. He said we should be proud of our traditions and ideology. He also lauded the role of Dr Majid Nizami in disseminating the ideological message to the students and teachers.
