LAHORE  - The Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) deputy administrator has issued ejectment notice to Awami Muslim League patron-in-chief Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad who was allegedly involved in illegal occupation of a plot which is property of ETPB.
Spokesman for the ETPB said that Sheikh was occupying seven units of ETPB illegally since long and his occupation was started during Pervez Musharraf government. Notice read that if accused did not vacate the ETPB property within seven, legal action would be taken against him.
When this scribe contacted ETPB Chairman Saddequl Farooq said: “Yes a notice was served on Rasheed but it was done by the court of Assistant Administrator ETPB.”
To a question that what action would take ETPB management if Rasheed did not vacate the property within given time, he said, lets complete the notice timing. He said that deadline of notice might be extended if the property was not vacated within time.
