ISLAMABAD - A delegation of Sri Lanka Air Force headed by Air Marshal Kolitha Aravinda Gunatilleke, Commander of Sri Lanka Air Force, held a meeting with Defence Minister Khwaja Muhammad Asif here Friday.

Matters related to professional interest and future cooperation were also discussed during the meeting.  

According to the sources, it was agreed during the meeting to take more important steps to enhance the further co-operation.  The delegation also visited Pakistan Air Force Academy, Risalpur where they were received by Air Vice Marshal Asim Zaheer, Air Officer Commanding PAF Academy Risalpur. The high profile delegation also attended a comprehensive briefing about the Academy’s organization structure and training. The distinguished guests visited College of Flying Training and College of Aeronautical Engineering where they saw the training facilities and laboratories of Aero-Space and Avionics Departments. They also visited Air Defence Training School, School of Air Traffic Services and Flying Training Wing.
