PESHAWAR - A person was killed and four others injured in two separate bomb blasts Friday evening in the provincial metropolis.

According to details, in the first explosion at Zaryab Colony in the limits of Faqirabad police station, a planted bomb exploded in front of a house owned by one Ali. Resultantly, at least three persons identified as Ashfaq, Imtiaz and Masood sustained injuries while the home was also partially damaged in the blast. The three injured were rushed to Lady Reading Hospital where their condition was stated stable. Similarly, in another blast near a CNG station at posh area in Hayatabad, one person was killed and another was injured. The dead and the injured were later shifted to Hayatabad Medical Complex.

The police rushed to blast site and launched a search operation, however, no arrest was made till filing this report.
