SIALKOT- The Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry has expressed grave concern over the political unrest in the country, terming it badly harmful to the national economy.

Talking to the newsmen here, SCCI President Fazal Jillani said that the prevalent political unrest was giving negative and bad impression in the world beside affecting the exports as the foreign buyers were reluctant to continue business with Pakistan.

He added that the prospects of exports were becoming excessively gloomy to stab the economic activity that depends heavily on exports. He said that current environment had created feeling of insecurity among businessmen as they were diverting their focus and attention from business. He urged the political leaders to ensure early resolution of the political crisis.

CATTLE DISTRIBUTED: Cattle distribution to flood affectees was held at the ground of Govt Jamia Boys High School Sialkot. The government was making efforts to ensure early rehabilitation of flood affectees by providing maximum relief for them, said MNA Armughan Subhani said on the occasion.

The government was fully aware of the problems of the flood affectees and striving to resolve them, he added. He distributed 122 cattle head to the affectees whose cattle had died during the flash floods in the region.
