LAYYAH (ONLINE): The police have registered an FIR against four accused involved in gang-rape of a schoolteacher in Kot Sultan village.
The arrested the prime accused Siraj Jam and Ghulam Akbar while Umar Majhota and another unidentified suspect was still at large.
The incident took place six days back when the victim was kidnapped from outside a private school in Kot Sultan village. She was tortured and gang-raped. Video of the incident was also recorded on the cellphone. Later, the suspects uploaded the video on social media and distributed it among locals.
Police traced two suspects Siraj Jam and Ghulam Akbar through the video.
As the news was aired on local media, District Police Officer Ghazi Salahuddin and DCO Rana Gulzar Ahmed arrived at the police station. The authorities have directed police to arrest other accused and complete investigation of the case at earliest.
