Traders call off strike on DPO’s assurance

The traders of grain market observed a complete strike against the registration of bogus a case and misbehaviour of the Burewala DSP with the traders.
However on the assurance of the Vehari DPO, they postponed the scheduled protest rally and sit-in front of the Press Club.
As per details, Markazi Anjuman-e-Tajraan Burewala, Anjuman-e-Arhtian Grain Market, Pesticide Dealers Association, Fertilizer Dealers Association, Oil Mills Association, Cotton Oil Seed Brokers Association and Vendors Union in a joint meeting to discuss the grievances.
Former president Muhammad Ashiq Arain, Burewala Bar Association Secretary General Muhammad Waqas Ashfaq and Pesticides Dealers Association President Adeel Mukhtar Anjum addressed the participants and demanded cancellation of the FIR registered against their member.
They also expressed gratitude to the DPO for ordering registration of case against the accused. They gave five days deadline for the transfer of Burewala DSP Mehar Zulfiqar Ali Sandrana to settle the issue.
On the occasion, representative of the DPO, Model Police Station SHO Muhammad Saeed assured the participants of justice and promised forward their grievances to the DPO.
