Police all set for Miladun Nabi

SIALKOT - As many as 143 small and big Jashan-e-Eid Miladun Nabi (PBUH) processions would be taken out in Sialkot district and the police have started making security arrangements to avert any untoward incident. As many as 1,600 policemen will be deputed on the special security of the processions to be taken out in Sialkot, Daska, Sambrial and Pasrur tehsils here.
Meanwhile, the overseas Pakistanis are the ambassadors of Pakistan and they play a pivotal role in strengthening the national economy by sending foreign exchange from abroad, said Overseas Pakistanis Committee District Chairman Tariq Akhtar.
He was addressing a meeting of this the committee at Sialkot DC Office in presence of Deputy Commissioner Dr Farrukh Naveed, ADCG Sialkot Meesam Abbas, Sialkot District Police Officer (DPO) Asad Sarfraz Khan and Assistant Commissioners of Sialkot, Daska, Sambrial and Pasrur tehsils.
He said that the government was making efforts to provide maximum facilities for the overseas Pakistanis besides striving to ensure early solution to their problems in Pakistan.
