SIALKOT-Two unknown armed motorcyclists shot dead Sub Inspector Imdad Shah at the main gate of Govt Sardar Begum Teaching Hospital Sialkot during duty.

Imdad Shah (55) was performing his duty when two unknown armed motorcyclists wearing helmets reached there and opened fire on him, killing him on the spot.

The slain sub inspector was the father of six children (four sons and two daughters). Police cordoned off the area around the Govt Sardar Begum Memorial Teaching Hospital with no clue or arrest.

The hospital is a few yards away from the offices of DSP (CIA) Sialkot and Hajipura Police Stations. Local police said that the accused were wearing helmets due to which they could not be recognised. The police shifted the body to Govt Allama Iqbal Memorial Teaching Hospital for autopsy. The police officials added that Hajipura police had registered a murder case with the clause of 7 ATA (Anti Terrorism Act) here today. Police are investigating with no arrest or clue.
