LAHORE -Mumba Squad and Karachi Basketball Club recorded victories in the Shah Abdul Latif Bhattai SSB Cup Basketball Tournament at Abdul Nasser Basketball Court Aram Bagh, Karachi. According to KBBA President Ghulam Muhammad Khan, Mumba Club defeated hosts Usman Club by 57-48 in the first match of the day. Kenath Johnson emerged as top scorer from the winning side as he gathered 24 points with the help of four three pointers while Taha Khan and Saad Khan also played well and scored 19 and 15 points respectively. Hassan Iqbal (15), Hamza Khan (13), Usman Khan (12) and Daniyal Murawat (8) played well for the runners-up. The second match of the day saw Karachi Basketball Club outpacing Civil Tigers by 56-41. Raj Kumar Lakhwani (18), Saad Shamsi (16) and Zain-ul-Abideen (14) scored from the winning side. Ahsan M Khan (13), M Haris (13) and M Maaz (10) scored from the runners-up.
