ISLAMABAD - Pakistan contingent arrived back to home here on Tuesday morning after participation in the 1st Asian Beach Games 2008 at Bali, Indonesia in which Pakistani athletes claimed two gold medals. The officials of Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) welcomed the national players at Banazir Bhutto International Airport, Islamabad. Pakistan handball team won the gold medal while Ghulam Haider grabbed the gold in wrestling competition.    Pakistan contingent comprising 41-member headed by Muhammad Ashraf Khan, Federal Secretary for Ministry of Sports, participated in these games. Pakistan took part in handball, wrestling, kabaddi, bodybuilding, volleyball and sailing. Pakistan won two gold, as many silvers and three bronze medals in these international competitions. Naseer Ahmed, Muhammad Sohaib, Tahir Ali, Babar Sultan, Muhammad Uzair, Muhammad Shahid Pervaiz, Azhar Khan and Nasrullah. Wrestling team: Ghulam Haider 65 Kg (Gold), Muhammad Ali 75-Kg (Silver), Usman Majeed 85-Kg (Bronze), Muhammad Taseen above- 85 Kg (bronze), Pakistan Kabaddi Team (silver) Muhammad Akram, Nasir Ali, Waseem Sajjad, Muhammad Tajammal, Faryad Ali and Wajid Ali. Bodybuilding: Muhammad Imran Qureshi 65-Kg (bronze).
