MOHMAND AGENCY Six persons including five suspected militants and a volunteer were killed in fierce clashes while three beheaded bodies were recovered in Mohmand Agency on Thursday. According to details, volunteers of a peace committee and militants clashed at Bakhmal Shah in tehsil Ambar. Ass a result, a volunteer, Fazal, was killed, while six of his other got injured. Official sources said that volunteers and security forces in a joint action killed at least five militants and injured several others. During the clashes militants reportedly set ablaze some three houses of volunteers as well. To vent anger, volunteers also torched a house belonging to one of the militants. In addition, the forces defused a bomb reportedly planted by suspected militants in the jurisdiction of Chamarkand in tehsil Safi. Three beheaded bodies have also been recovered from Angor Koroona, Mohmand Agency. Taliban in Mohmand Agency have claimed responsibility for killing the three men. The killed were identified as Mujahid, Aeen Khan, residents of Shanoo Ghundo, Mohmand Agency, while the third one was stated to be Sewa Khan, an Afghan national.
