I started reading Nawa-i-Waqt in 1995 and with the passage of time my interest grew in the newspaper. As a result, I started reading, Nation and Nida-i-Millat also. I was reading other newspapers also but it was Nawa-i-Waqt that captured my attention. I think the Nawa-i-Waqt publications, including the Nation and Nida-i-Millat are one of the most reliable sources of information and news in present times. This newspaper moreover, helped me a lot during my journalism diploma course as it gave me information on current affairs. Nawa-i-Waqt under the guidance of Hameed Nizami played a crucial role in the Pakistan movement. After his demise, Majid Nizami who also played an important role in the Pakistan movement and is also the founder of Nazria-i-Pakistan became the Editor-in-Chief and further improved the standard and quality of the newspaper. I have started watching Waqt News channel as well which is also a creditable source of news and information. I think that the Nawa-i-Waqt group has played an important part in changing the mindset and focusing attention on real issues in the society. ANWAR MUSTAFAVI, Lahore, October 27.
