NPT sitting on Kashmir

LAHORE - The Kashmiris are consistently waging a struggle for freedom. Their efforts will be crowned with success. They have been facing Indian oppression for several decades and setting examples of heroism.
These were the ideas expressed by Nazaria-i-Pakistan Forum Mirpur (Azad Kashmir) President Maulana Muhammad Shafi Josh, in a special lecture delivered on the ‘Black Day’ marking the seizure of Kashmir by India on October 27, 1947.
The sitting was held under the aegis of the Nazaria-i-Pakistan Trust in collaboration with the Tehreek-i-Pakistan Workers Trust at the Aiwan-i-Karkunaan-i-Tehreek-i-Pakistan. Those attending the sitting included Zahid Javed Sheikh, Muhammad Shafique Raza Qadri and large number of students.
Maulana Muhammad Shafi Josh observed that 27th of October is marked as the ‘Black Day’ not only by the Kashmiris but also by all the peace and justice loving humanity.  Maulana observed that the Kashmiris had opted to join Pakistan even before its establishment. The Quaid-i-Azam remarked that there was no need for the Muslim League in the presence of the Muslim conference.
Zahid Javed remarked that the Kashmiris’ freedom struggle had absolutely nothing to do with terrorism. “The local people are offering supreme sacrifices for the annexation of their homeland to Pakistan which would bring about the completion of Pakistan as well,” he added.
“The Nazaria-i-Pakistan Trust has invariably been expressing complete solidarity with the Kashmiris and calling for a just resolution to this burning issue,” Javed held.
