ISLAMABAD : The condition of Peshawar Commissioner and a 29-year-old woman who suffered critical burn injuries in an explosion on Saturday is still critical. The Commissioner was shifted to Quaid-I-Azam Hospital, a private hospital of Rawalpindi, on Sunday from Pims on the recommendation of his relatives. According to the officials of the hospital, he is still in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) due to his critical condition.

In a gas-leak explosion in an apartment of Park Towers complex in Sector F-10, Islamabad, Peshawar Commissioner Sahibzada Muhammad Anis had sustained 98 to 100 per cent burns.

A 29-year-old woman, whose relation was not mentioned, was also in the apartment and sustained 45 percent burn injuries. She is still at the burn center of Pims and her condition is also critical.
