Italian police hand over APS attack suspect

ISLAMABAD: Usman Ghani, a man suspected of involvement in the Army Public School (APS) massacre, was handed over to Pakistan by the Italian police today. Usman hails from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's Mardan district. He was arrested in Italy with Interpol's assistance, according to local media.

Usman is reportedly desired for his involvement in criminal activities inside Pakistan including the massive APS attack in Peshawar. According to our sources, he is likely to face an in-depth investigation after his transfer to the Federal Investigation Agency.
