Police being used as political tool in Punjab, Sindh: Imran Khan

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has said that Punjab and Sindh Police are being used by the provincial governments for political purposes. “KP is at the top in de-politicizing the police,” he added.

The PTI chairman pointed out that the father of a federal minister of the ruling party is blaming other federal minister of the same party. “Chaudary Sher Ali said that Rana Sanaullah has killed 17 people but he has no fear as government is backing him,” Khan said.

The PTI chief further criticized the ruling party over using government sources for political revenge campaign against him. “Justice and accountability is the core of democracy and sources must be used to achieve these goals,” he suggested.

He claimed that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) will not remain in power in Punjab forever. “PTI will come into power in Punjab at some point just like KP,” he claimed.
