KHAIRPUR - A man and woman were shot dead allegedly over honour near Moro on Saturday.
According to details, Zulfiqar Ali Khoso and Sitara Khoso were shot dead in village Allah Dino Khoso near Moro, resulting in the death of Zulfiqar on the spot while critically wounding Sitara.
After learning about the incident, Moro police reached the spot and shifted the body and the injured girl to a hospital where the girl also succumbed to her injuries.
According to police, the assassin managed to run away from the spot after committing the crime.
Police had not registered the case till the filing of this story.
Warrants issued
for recovery of children
A court on Saturday issued search warrants for the recovery of five children from the captivity of some influential persons.
According to details, District and Sessions Judge Miss Sadaf Khokhar, on the application of an old woman, Satbai Bhambhro, issued warrants to SHO Thari Mirwah to search the houses of Liaqat, Irshad, Naveed, Zulfiqar and Raju Bhambhro of village Bhamabhra for the recovery of five children Ilyas, Azhar, Khadim, Azam and Kamil Bhambhro.
