SAHIWAL :  The Divisional Development Working Party has approved the establishment of new Rural Health Centre (RHC) at 90-More Chichawatni to provide health facilities to people living in far-flung areas of Sahiwal division. The project will cost Rs132.3 million and provide medical facilities to the inhabitant of over 30 villages.

The approval was given in a meeting chaired by Commissioner Sahiwal Division Baber Hayat Tarar at his office. Director Development Habib Jilani Vance, Director Health Dr Sadiq Saleem and the officials concerned attended the meeting. The meeting also approved the rehabilitation of 5.72km-long road from Comprehensive School Chowk in Sahiwal city to Adda Mai Wali Masjid with Rs100 million.

The meeting also approved rehabilitation of 7.8km-long road from Pull Joyia to Jandraka with Rs129.1 million in Okara district. The road will provide easy access to the commuters to Syed Wala Bridge on River Ravi.
