LAHORE - Young Agha Asad showed that he is fast developing into a golfer of maturity with an impressive victory in the Ramadan Rose Bowl Golf Tournament held over three segments at the spectacular Royal Palm Golf Course .Playing excellent golf , this talented youngster, who learnt his golf at Royal Palm cracked a final days nine hole score of net 32 , to finish on net 65.In this championship , the rules stated that out of three outings , the best scores of two outings will be considered to determine the prize winner .Over the three segments ,Asad  had scores of net 31 ,34 and 32  and his cards of 31 and 32 fetched him an aggregate of 63 plus the winners Ramadan Rose Bowl Trophy and he has the honour of seeing his name etched on that trophy which was started three years back. The other main contender Asad Ali Khan did play every hole in style and was indeed majestic off the tee on all the par 4's and par 5's yet had to concede the trophy to Agha Asad by a margin of three strokes. However he won the best gross prize. Winners of other events are Abdullah Sharif , nearest to the pin ,Tariq Ahmed , longest drive ,Hamza Khan, best nine holes net and Faisal Iqbal, best 9 holes gross . At the conclusion of the tournament, Haseeb Gardezi , General Manager, Royal Palm distributed prizes to the winners.
