Future of the nation

I am a student of intermediate studying at a government commerce college. The main problem we face at government colleges is lack of education standards. This compels us to join coaching centres. There, we have to pay exorbitant sums for admission besides hefty monthly and annual fees. The coaching centres remain open for 3 days a week for us. The teachers at coaching centres teach us doing the solved and unsolved papers of the last five years. I request the relevant authorities to ensure that students are taught properly at the government colleges so that we do not have to go to these coaching centres. Please don't do injustice to students. We are the future of this nation. -S. ASAD HAIDER KAZMI, Student Class XI. Government Premier College, Karachi, via e-mail, September 14.
