PESHAWAR - Keeping in view the sanctity of Eid-ul-Fitr and Ramazan-ul-Mubarak, spokesman of Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) Swat Chapter, Haji Muslim Khan, has declared ceasefire for six days. TTP spokesman said this in his telephonic talk from an unknown location here on Sunday. He also threatened that they would strongly retaliate if the security forces attacked their positions during the ceasefire period. "No one should get advantage from the TTP ceasefire decision as Taliban have decided this keeping in view the sanctity of Eid-ul-Fitr and the Holy month of Ramazan. Meanwhile, a passer-by, identified as Rahman Gul, was killed when Taliban fired at security forces in Charbagh area. Moreover, in another incident security force repulsed Taliban's attack on Matta Police Station. No casualty has been reported so far.
