KARACHI - President Asif Ali Zardari has expressed dissatisfaction over the poor performance of Sindh cabinet ministers who prefer to remain busy in unofficial activities instead of solving problems of the masses, The Nation learnt on Sunday. According to PPP sources, President Zardari has strictly directed the provincial ministers to utilise all their energies in service to people, warning that he would not tolerate their involvement in unofficial activities. On his direction, the Sindh ministers have started holding open courts at the Bilawal House and the PPP Secretariat, the sources said. They said that there were strong chances of reshuffling in the provincial cabinet after Eidul Fitr. Sources further said that some ministers also defy order of the Chief Minister, who had banned transfers and postings of officials. But some ministers use their influence and pressurise provincial Chief Secretary for violating CM's orders in their respective ministries. Sources added that President Asif Ali Zardari has directed the provincial ministers and lawmakers to resolve various problems of the masses and party workers on priority basis. It will be worth mentioning here that majority of the Sindhi youth are unemployed and has associated huge expectations from the PPP government regarding the provision of jobs. Meanwhile, peoples in the interior Sindh seem satisfied with the performances of provincial Home Minister, who takes keen interest in the improvement of law and order situation in their areas.
