LAHORE Sui Southern Gas Company won the 58th National Cycling Championship that concluded here at the Cycling Velodrome on Tuesday night. National champion Noor Alam of SSGC with 60 points was declared the fastest cyclist of the championship. The SSGC gained 196 points to secure top place in the event. On the final day, road event was organised at DHA Phase-8. The 102km Road Race was won by Wazir Ali of Railways. In four km team pursuit Wapda won gold medal and Sui Sothern Gas got silver medal. In team sprint SSGC won gold and Wapda got silver medal. Wapda was runner up with 149 points while third position went to Army with 125 points. Railways got fourth place with 51 points and Punjab was fifth with 33 points. Balochistan was sixth with 22 points. Noor Alam was declared the national champion and the fastest cyclist of the championship. Chief guest for closing ceremony was POA chief Lt. Gen (retd) Syed Arif Hasan
