The National polio Eradication campaign was kicked off in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) on Monday, media reports.
Addressing the inaugural ceremony of the campaign in Rawalakot, AJK Information Minister Sardar Abid Hussain said that Azad Kashmir is a polio free state and not a single case of polio has been reported in any part of the state so far.
Over 0.7 million children of five years and below will be administered anti-polio and vitamin A drops during the three days campaign throughout the state.
