Islamabad- Actress Veena Malik arrived at the Islamabad airport today with her husband, Asad Basheer Khan Khattak, after spending four years abroad.
Speaking to the media at the airport, Veena said that she has returned to the country “as a mature girl.”
“I’m so excited about being back to Pakistan after three years. Being away from home for so long has only increased my love for my country multifold,” said Veena Malik, who tied the knot last year in Dubai.
Se expressed she'd prefer to work in Pakistan despite steady offers from India. She further said that she wanted to work in Pakistan. Veena said that her husband will dedicate his energies to social welfare in Pakistan. Referring to her retirement from the film industry, her husband said that there were no restrictions on her from his side, and that Veena herself wanted to retire.
