Islamabad: All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) will take part in the forthcoming Local government elections in the country. All necessary preparations are in full swing, said Secretary General Dr Amjad.

In a statement today, the Secretary General said that Party chief former President Pervez Musharrf is very active to make the party more popular among the masses. 

Dr Amjad said that Pervez Musharraf has already held meetings with Syed Ghaus Ali Shah, Pir Saheb Pagara, Hamid Raza, leader of Sunni Ittehad Council as well as Nabil Gabol.

He said during the meetings, the former President held consultations on future strategy and cooperation with these parties, in the coming elections. Dr Amjad expressed the confidence that the APML will surprise the political pundits, during the local government elections.
