The Water Management employees Union has protested against the Provincial Ministry for Agriculture for not regularising the services of the employees .
WMEU President Nasir Abbas and Secretary General Aamir Shahzad reminded the provincial minister about his promise to regularise their services but despite the lapse of two months, the promise has not yet been fulfilled. They threatened that they would resort to hunger strike if their 10-year-old demand was not accepted.
CLEANLINESS: The TMA Hafizabad observed cleanliness week in the city. TMA officials said that all the drains would be desalted and fumigation of would be made in all the union councils of the city in a phased plan. They appealed to the citizens to cooperate with the sanitation staff to make their surroundings neat and clean to make the campaign, a big success.
Meanwhile, Children Ward DHQ Hospital In-charge Dr Abid Hussain said that due to the advent of hot weather, patients of diarrhoeo / gastro has been increased and has advised the mothers of infants to take preventive measures to make their atmosphere neat and clean and also to get their children vaccinated.
