LAHORE - The security and law enforcement agencies arrested four alleged terrorists during a special operation conducted in the Youhanabad locality in the wee hours of Wednesday.

The arrested militants, said to be members of a banned outfit, are shifted to an unknown location for further interrogation.

A private TV channel reported that the security personnel also recovered explosive material and detonators from their possession. The alleged terrorists are identified as Meer Muhammad Khan, Abdul Rehman, Zarib Khan, and Ameer Khan. All the four residents of Mohmand Agency are said to be members of the Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).

Police, security personnel, and intelligence operatives raided a hideout near the Christian neighbourhood and arrested the militants on early Wednesday. Further investigation was underway.
