Islamabad: Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has said that petroleum prices will remain the same for the next month.

Talking to journalists today, he said that the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority's recommendation to change the petroleum prices was turned down.

Earlier, OGRA had recommended one rupee to 9.43 rupees decrease in petroleum prices.

Sources said that the regulatory body had recommended PKR 1 per litre cut in the petrol price and PKR 1.6 per litre in diesel price.

OGRA had also recommended hike in HOBC and kerosene oil prices by Rs9.43 and Rs2.11 per litre respectively.
