Islamabad: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf accused Pakistan Muslim League (N) for pre-poll rigging in upcoming local bodies polls in KPK and planning to lodge a complaint with the election commission of Pakistan.

In a press statement issued today, the PTI information secretary Shireen Mizari said: “It is time the PML-N should learn the essentials of democracy which begins with fair and free elections and no attempts to influence polls through pre-poll rigging should be made.”

She said that Nawaz Sharif had so far not been able to rise above cronyism and use of money to buy influence. Mizari accused PML-N that it has been using WAPDA employees for pre-poll rigging in the province.

She said that the PTI would approach the ECP to file a complaint and names of WAPDA employees working for PML-N would also be exposed to the public.
