Rawalpindi - A student of Barani Institute of Management Sciences yesterday appealed to City Police Officer Israr Ahmed Khan Abbasi to hold an impartial inquiry into a kidnapping and nude video making case and provide the innocent students with justice.

The CPO accepted the application of the student for further action.

According to details, Mukaram Ikram son of Muhammad Ikram appeared before CPO Abbasi and tabled an application in which he stated he along with his university fellows had been implicated in a fake kidnapping and nude video making case (number 343/2016) by two of their fellow students Awais Tahir Bhatti and Mahrukh Waheed. He stated that he along with others had obtained pre-arrest bails from court of area magistrate and have been cooperating with investigation office in the probe.

He said that the case was based on wrong and frivolous facts whereas nobody has kidnapped or stripped Mahrukh Waheed.

Mukaram Ikram told the CPO that he and other university fellows have been implicated in the bogus case and demanded a free, fair and impartial inquiry into allegations. CPO Israr Ahmed Khan Abbasi accepted the application for departmental action and inquiry, informed a cop.

Sadiqabad police booked more than 16 students of BIMS and others on charges of kidnapping, torturing and making nude videos of two students of the same university namely Awais Tahir Bhatti and Mahrukh Waheed. Police have arrested two accused Murad Khan and Arman Butt and obtained their four days physical remand.
