LAHORE - Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) has directed the school partners attached with Foundation Assisted School (FAS) program of giving gratis education to the needy students, to get income certificate on plain paper from parents/guardians of eligible students at the time of their admission in the primary section.

School partners will also submit an affidavit that this year’s admissions of eligible students in the primary section have been made strictly in accordance with the prescribed policy of the Punjab Education Foundation and no misstatement is made in this regard. PEF Director (FAS) Zahid Ali issued a departmental circular in this regard yesterday.

According to the circular, monthly payments to FAS partner schools, during the academic year 2016-17, will be made as per record of Student Information System (SIS). Similarly, the school-enrollment for the holding of Quality Assurance Test (QAT) as well as for the monitoring purposes will be taken from SIS.

The schools should, therefore, ensure that their SIS-data is error free and commensurate with school’s record.

The circular has also warned the partners to ensure that all information about students including their names, form B number, father’s name along-with CNIC and picture of student is made part of school’s record and is also entered correctly in the SIS.

The PEF has uploaded sample affidavit for schools and parents at its official website for the convenience of the partner schools.
