PML-N resisting accountability: PTI

LAHORE - PTI leader Chaudhry Sarwar has said that the PML-N is resisting accountability and it needs to provide proof against corruption allegations instead of threatening the opposition.

In a statement yesterday, he said the people of Pakistan will throw Sharifs out of power corridors as all opposition parties united against corruption. The time had come that the rulers should stop corruption and change its way of politics, he added.

He said that PML-N cannot digress from the actual facts and from the charges levelled against it by criticising the PTI.  He said Imran Khan would lead a historic public meeting in Lahore on May 1 and added that the party was fighting for the country’s sovereignty.  He said the rulers will be held accountable for their massive corruption. He said the nation would recover each and every looted penny from the rulers.

He said that it would be in the best interest of the rulers that it should listen to the opposition otherwise it will continue to face problems.

He said that loadshedding and other problems could never be resolved without rooting out the menace of corruption from the society. He said that it was high time that the PML-N should present itself for accountability and constitute inquiry commission as per the opposition’s demands. Otherwise, he said that protests would remain the right of the opposition.
