LAHORE - The Next Summer Spring Golf Tournament will be teed off here at the par 72 Lahore Gymkhana Golf Course today (Saturday). The Next Group-sponsored event will enable keen golfers to win honors and attractive prizes under fiercely competitive conditions. On the first day, the events at stake will be juniors (15 years and below), ladies (36 handicap and below), veterans (one category is 70 to 80 years and another is above 80 years) and seniors (in age bracket above 55 years up to less than 70). A total of 85 eager participants will vie for honors and top positions in each of these categories. As against this the seasoned and accomplished amateurs numbering, 122 will compete on Sunday on stroke play basis. The tee off for ladies will be at 6am and the seniors’ at 10am.
