Threat advisory issued to Imran Khan

LAHORE: Lahore Police have issued threat advisory to PTI chief Imran Khan in perspective of life threat to him at Lahore.

Lahore Police have issued a letter to Imran Khan saying that information for plotting attack on Imran Khan has been received and Sajna group of Tehreek-e- Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has planned to attack Imran Khan.
The letter said that PTI leadership should work out their movement plan according to this threat advisory and they should take precautionary measures in the prevailing situation. Letter on terror threat with reference to PTI public meeting has also been sent to Imran Khan.

Sources said that search operation has been started in the areas adjacent to Faisal Chowk in the perspective of security arrangements in connection with PTI May, 1 public meeting therein. Police have divided security of public meeting into red, blue and green. Separate security plan is being evolved for ladies.

DIG operations Haider Ashraf has issued orders for checking all the CCTV cameras installed on Mall road.
