Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) spokesperson Fawad Chaudhry on Monday revealed that decision to launch military operation in Karachi was made by military’s top brass.

Chaudhry responded to Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader Nawaz Sharif’s statement in which the latter took credit of restoring peace in metropolis.

He said, "Sharif’s political career has expired."

“Only those people are now standing with Sharif who are unable to find space in any other political outfit. People are standing in queues to join ranks of PTI”, claimed PTI spokesperson.

Chaudhry stated that Sharif was denigrating state-institutions on daily basis.
