Cash, gold worth Rs25m looted from miller’s house

JHANG -Five alleged armed dacoits looted Rs25 million from the house a local Oil Miller in the densely-populated area of the city here the other day. As per details, five unidentified armed dacoits stormed into the house of Muhammad Ramzan, a local Oil Mills owner situated Mohallah Budhay Wala in the remit of Kutwali Police. The accused tortured the family members and locked them in a room. They looted 280 tolas of gold ornaments, cash amounting to Rs9.5 million and prize bounds and managed to escape from the scene.
The police concerned have registered a case against five unidentified dacoits. Meanwhile, the police have arrested some suspects in connection with the incident.
