Robinson hired as physio for Pakistan team

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has hired the services of Ex-Zimbabwe physio Brad Robinson for the national team, it is learnt here. According to the PCB sources in Lahore, Brad Robinson will join with the Pakistan team in the first week of September.  His first assignment with the Pakistan team will be against Australia in UAE. The Pakistan team is scheduled to play one Twenty20 game, three ODIs' and two Test matches. Interestingly, Brad Robinson is a son of former Zimbabwe umpire Ian Robinson.
Robinson is a graduate from the University of Zimbabwe in 1998, and he worked in private practice and also with the Zimbabwe cricket team before moving to England in 2005, where he worked with the Kent team.
His specialty in all musculo-skeletal conditions, sports injuries and rehabilitation and acupuncture pain relief.
It could not be confirmed whether Grant Flower, another Zimbabwean batting coach for the Pakistani team had recommended Robinson's name, but the players are bound to be benefited with his experience.
