Regrettably, the scenic city of Sindh Qasimabad is devoid of basic civic amenities like clean drinking water, electricity, sanitation, and proper public transport. Most of its roads are broken and without streetlights. Life has become a nuisance for its inhabitants. It is a great shame to know that the ruling elite of the province including bureaucrats and technocrats dwell in its sister city of Hyderabad. We can only call ourselves a civilized society if we look after the interests of each other, the inhabitants in and around. How selfish How egocentric and how uncivilized can these people be termed who have left their hamlets, villages and towns to live in this city of Qasimabad but have neither made individual efforts nor collective efforts to get it developed. They do not bother what is happening in and around and even at their doorstep. Is there anyone to take immediate notice of growing lawlessness and other social evils there and launch a Civic Amenities Action Plan to make this city really worth living?
