At least eight people killed while 12 others are injured when a powerful blast hit Quetta on Friday. DIG Quetta Nazeer Kurd said that the blast occurred near residence of former federal minister Naseer Mengal and more casualties feared in the attack. Police have cordoned off the area. Nearby houses and buildings were partially destroyed and caught fire due to the blast at Arbab Karam road. All the injured have been shifted to nearby civil hospital and Bolan Medical Hospital.
