LAHORE – A 13-year-old housemaid was found dead mysteriously in Satukatla police area on Thursday. According to details, the body of Sumaira, hailing from Gujranwala, was found strangled to death from a house owned by one Umair in Anees Pak Housing Society.
 “Although, her body was found hanging to a ceiling fan and seemed a suicide incident but evidences are against this claim by the house owner,” a senior police officer said, adding police have collected necessary evidences for further investigations.
He said no one has been taken into police custody but the arrest would be made when needed. Police are awaiting an autopsy to ascertain the main cause of her death. Further investigations are underway.
