ISLAMABAD - Islamabad Police have arrested three outlaws including a female from various areas of the city and recovered 1.1-kg heroin and weapons from their possession, a police spokesman said on Saturday.

Golra police have arrested a female drug pusher Rifat and recovered 1.100 kilograms hashish from her possession.

Meanwhile Sub-Inspector Muhammad Aslam arrested Alamgir in possession of 30 bore pistol while ASI Qasim Zia from Shehzad town police arrested Khalid Mehmud for having 30 bore pistol. Cases have been registered against the accused and further investigation is underway.

SSP Islamabad Yaseen Farooq has appreciated the performance and directed all police officials for effective vigilance and patrolling in their respective areas, he added.

Meanwhile, Rawalpindi police on Saturday arrested 14 outlaws and recovered drugs, weapons, bottle of liquor and a dagger from their possession. According to police spokesman, Ganjmandi police held Shahbaz and recovered 120 gram charas from his possession while Pirwadhi police arrested Rehman and recovered 130 gram charas from his custody.

City police have nabbed Izat and recovered 10 bottle of liquor from his possession. Murree police arrested Tariq and recovered a bottle of liquor from his pocket. Waris Khan police held Saddam and recovered a pistol 30 bore along 4 round from him.  Morgah police arrested Jameel and recovered a pistol 30 bore along 3 rounds from him. Race Course police recovered a repeater 12 bore along 3 round from Shah Wali.

City police held Izat and recovered a dagger from his possession.  Separate cases have been registered against all the accused and investigation is underway.
