ISLAMABAD - Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) Vice President Saeed Ahmed Bahtti has said that traders of federal capital were facing many problems which should be resolved on priority basis by the government. He said that a balanced Rent Control Act in Islamabad would greatly reduce and resolve the rental issues of traders of the capital.
He said that in the absence of a balanced Rent Control Act in Islamabad, frequency of disputes was rising day by day and the business community was feeling insecure in such environment. He was talking to President of All Pakistan Anjum-e-Tajran and former MNA from Faisalabad, Mian Abdul Manan who visited Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
He said Islamabad Chamber has struggled a lot in bringing changes in the Rent Control Act after consultation with the all stakeholders and representatives of the business community. He said that with the efforts of Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry, document of a balanced rent control act has reached the parliament.
Thus government should execute this law in the larger interest of the traders, he added.
All Pakistan Anjum-e-Tajran president assured his support for solving the problems of business community ad said that he would provide his full support in execution of balanced rent control act and expressed hope that it would soon be made into a law.
