KOT RADHA KISHAN - The Police recovered the bodies of two alleged robbers wanted in over 50 cases of heinous nature to the police in different districts. The bodies were recovered on Saturday from railway level at village Zafarkay.

Addressing press conference here at his office, Kasur DPO Syed Khurram Ali claimed that a group of robbers fought over the distribution of booty and opened fire at each other.

He said that the Kot Radha Kishan Police late the other night had received information regarding cross-firing between two groups near Railway level Zafarkay. A heavy contingent of police, headed by the Kot Radha Kishan Police SHO reached the spot. However, on sighting the police, the outlaws fled from the scene, leaving two unidentified bodies behind.

The bodies were later identified as Mushtaq, a resident of village Hindal and Mushtaq alias Kali of village Raja Jang. The police also claimed that the alleged robbers were wanted in more than 50 cases of robberies, dacoities and murder in Kasur and other districts. The police also recovered illicit weapons and two motorcycles from the spot. The DPO said that four teams had been constituted for the arrest of runaway robbers.
